The wrestling team had a great inaugural season that culminated with a very special event - getting to meet an Olympic gold medalist! Shelby Wilson won the wrestling gold medal at the 1960 Olympics in Rome. He met with the team, explaining his journey from being a middle school wrestler to an Olympian. He even let the kids touch his gold medal! Congrats to the Firehawks Wrestling Team for an incredible first year!
