She came to me in March of 2022 and in that final quarter she took the ILearn, watched 4 days worth of movies, and never got a single homework assignment. She didn’t know any math facts without her fingers and didn’t know letter sounds. Once I knew I’d have her with me for a semester, I started her at Seven Oaks. Ms. McCarthy taught her to read, Mrs. McNeely taught her math, every teacher in the school loved and cared for her and went out of their way to help me. The high school kids were charitable and kind to her as well. She felt safe and loved while learning more than she had ever learned in school.
