A Defined Curriculum Focused on Masterworks
Beginning in kindergarten, students take up a study of the fine arts. Instruction in the fine arts follows a defined curriculum that spans not only performance, but also the history and theory of art and music. They will develop a discriminating ear and eye as they analyze masterworks from every era.

Cross-Curricular Connections
The experience is made still richer by cross-curricular connections. Many of the topics covered in music or art connect to what students are reading in literature or history.
New High School Electives
Each year, our high school students have the opportunity to explore a variety of fine arts electives. Offerings may include watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic and gouache painting, ceramics, stained glass, photography, digital design, and chorus. Elective offerings vary by semester, giving students opportunities to experience different artistic mediums throughout their high school years.
Showcasing Students’ Work
Students have opportunity to share their work with the broader community. Each semester, our K-8 students, as well as the high school chorus, prepare a concert. Similarly, K-8 students, as well as high schoolers taking an art elective, prepare an annual art show.
