Seven Oaks by the Numbers: A Story of Growth, Excellence, and Momentum

At Seven Oaks Classical School, we believe that a strong education should speak for itself—and this year, the numbers tell an extraordinary story. As we look back on our journey from 2016 to today, and as we look ahead to what’s possible for our students, one thing is clear: Seven Oaks is growing in all the right ways.

A School Families Seek Out

The first chart highlights a milestone we’re incredibly proud of—our remarkable enrollment growth.
In 2016, Seven Oaks opened its doors to just over 150 students. Today, nearly 600 students call Seven Oaks home.

This growth isn't accidental. Families are choosing Seven Oaks because they see the difference: a classical education rooted in virtue, rigorous academics, a tight-knit community, and teachers who believe that every child is capable of excellence.

Outperforming the State—Year After Year

Academic excellence is at the heart of our mission, and the ILEARN data from 2019–2025 show just how consistently Seven Oaks stands apart.

ELA & Math Combined

While the state’s combined proficiency rates have remained relatively flat, Seven Oaks has surged ahead—rising from around 40% proficiency to more than 55% in 2025. This upward momentum reflects not only strong teaching but also a curriculum that builds true understanding, not just test-taking skills.

Math

Seven Oaks students continue to shine in mathematics.
Our proficiency rates climbed from about 50% in 2019 to 70% in 2023, and remain well above the state average. Even through a pandemic and shifting academic challenges, our students demonstrated resilience and mastery.

ELA

In English Language Arts, the story is much the same.
While the state hovers around the mid-40s, Seven Oaks students consistently perform in the high 50s and low 60s—showing strength in reading, writing, and communication skills that form the foundation of lifelong learning.

Why It Matters

At Seven Oaks, we don’t “teach to the test.” Instead, we teach for understanding. Our focus is on a rich, well-rounded curriculum that cultivates knowledge, curiosity, and critical thinking—not simply test preparation. When students engage deeply with meaningful content, strong test results follow naturally. The data show that this approach represents:

  • Students who are learning to think critically and communicate clearly.

  • Teachers who hold high expectations and provide the structure students need to reach them.

  • A community that believes in the classical model and supports its mission.

  • A school that refuses to settle—and continues to improve year after year.

Looking Ahead

Seven Oaks is experiencing historic growth, strong academic outcomes, and a rising reputation in our region and state. But most importantly, we are forming young people who pursue truth, cultivate virtue, and strive for excellence in all things.

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to the same principles that have guided us from the beginning—because they work. Our students are living proof.
