Seven Oaks Athletes Make History in First IHSAA Season
This fall marks a new chapter in Seven Oaks history as our Firehawks begin their first season as members of the Indiana High School Athletic Association.
After years of building our athletics program, Seven Oaks students now have the opportunity to compete alongside other IHSAA schools and pursue sectional and state championships. But for our athletes, this milestone represents more than a new postseason opportunity. It is the chance to help build something for the students who will come after them.
That excitement is especially meaningful for this year’s seniors, who have watched Seven Oaks Athletics grow and now have the opportunity to be part of its first IHSAA season. As senior volleyball player Shelby Bault shared with The Herald-Times, “This is school history, and I'm happy to be a part of it.”
Athletics at Seven Oaks is another place where students learn to pursue excellence, persevere through challenges, work alongside others, and represent their school well. Now, our Firehawks have an even bigger stage on which to do it.
We are proud of the students, coaches, families, and supporters who helped us reach this moment—and excited to see where they take us next.
