Officer Baker

Congratulations, Officer Jeff Baker! Officer Baker is the newest Reserve Officer of the Ellettsville Police Department and has served as the SRO at Seven Oaks Classical School for the past 3 years. After completing the Indiana Law Enforcement Training, he was sworn in on Wednesday, February 8, 2024 by Clerk-Treasurer Noelle Conyer at the Ellettsville Town Hall. Chief Durnil presented Officer Baker with his badge who was also accompanied by Head of School, Dr. Stephen Shipp.

Mr. Baker's role -- even his uniform -- will remain essentially unchanged. The big gains will be improved collaboration and direct communication with local law enforcement, as well as the use of a vehicle.
