National Merit Scholarship finalist

In our tenth year as a school we have hit another milestone. Earlier this month we found out that our very own senior, Xixi Qiu, has been named a semifinalist for the National Merit Scholarship. Many may not realize how prestigious this honor is; however, a National Merit Semifinalist represents fewer than 1% of the nation’s high school seniors. To put it differently, out of the 1.3 million juniors who took the PSAT/NMSQT screener last fall, Xixi scored in the top 1%. Xixi stands alone as the only Seven Oaks student to receive this recognition. Please join us in congratulating Xixi when you see her.
