Resources for Seven Oaks Families
21st Century Scholars
21st Century Scholars is a need-based Indiana scholarship that provides FREE TUITION to public colleges and universities and up to 70% tuition assistance to private colleges and universities in Indiana for families who qualify. Students must enroll by June 30 of their 8th Grade year (entering 9th grade) in order to qualify. Visit this link to see if you qualify and to apply. Registered students can track their progress here.
InvestEd
InvestEd is an Indiana nonprofit organization designed to help families plan for college and navigate the financial aid process. InvestEd will be visiting our campus three times this year to lead targeted financial aid presentations. You can also visit their website for helpful information on all things financial aid.
Scoir
We are excited to be implementing our new college advising portal Scoir (pronounced score) starting in Fall of 2021. Scoir allows for students to search colleges, connect with their YouScience account, track the status of their application, and more either through the online portal or using the app on a smartphone. Parents will also be able to track their student’s progress through a parent portal. For more information, visit the Scoir website. To login to your account, click here.
YouScience
Youscience is an aptitude based assessment for students that helps them to understand what kinds of careers might interest them. The assessments take the form of fun, online puzzles and games and the results create a personalized profile for each student. Seven Oaks Students are asked to complete their YouScience assessment in the winter of their Junior year. Students can now access their YouScience portal with assessments and results through their scoir profile. Click here for a short video on how YouScience works.
