****originally published on 8/15/23****

Hello,

This marks the first of several weekly athletics blogs. Information you can expect to find in these emails is results from the previous week, information for the upcoming week, and general athletics info. The breakdown will be segmented into different sections. The overall goal of these emails is to let everyone know what is going on in the world of athletics at Seven Oaks. So, without further ado:

Last Week's Results

Last week marked the start of our athletics season, with high school XC and volleyball kicking off their seasons on Saturday, August 12th.

Volleyball

The Varsity Lady Firehawks went 0-2 on the weekend, falling to Kings Academy and Horizon Christian Academy in a round robin played at Horizon Christian Academy. Although the results did not result in tallies in the win column, the girls played hard and are motivated to get back on track when they play their next game on Monday, Aug 21st against Lighthouse Christian Academy.
