Andrea Kalmanek
With a foundation in track and cross country since middle school, my journey into athletics continued through high school and college, where I ran for Virginia Intermont College until my senior year when I transferred to pursued a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at the University of Tennessee. Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of medical science, I furthered my education with a specialized degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Old Dominion University. Despite my academic pursuits, my passion for running never waned, leading me to participate in various distance road races, from 5ks to completing a marathon. Combining my knowledge of biomechanics and biochemistry with my love for running, I find fulfillment in mentoring and inspiring young athletes to pursue their athletic dreams.
