Orientation and Training for Substitute Teachers


Anyone who is interested being a substitute teacher for Seven Oaks is invited to an Orientation and Training meeting at the school on Thursday, October 3, at 9:00 a.m.

 If you are unable to attend on Thursday, the orientation will be repeated on Thursday, October 17, at 9:00 a.m.

Annie: K-2 Theatre Workshop


Students in Kindergarten, first and second grades are invited to participate in a 2-hour theatre workshop on Saturday, October 5. Students will learn the basics of theatre and dance. They will have the opportunity to perform a short showcase of “Annie” at the end of the session.

Date:     Saturday, October 5

Time:    Session One 1:00-3:00 p.m.

             Session Two 3:00-5:00 p.m.

Where:  Music Room 210

Cost:     $5.00 per student. Proceeds will go toward the production budget of the Theatre Club’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

The workshop will be led by Miss Holland and Mrs. Pursell. Parents are asked to drop off their students for the workshop. When signing up, please choose only one of the two available sessions.

Literacy Night


Parents are invited to a special presentation by our Curriculum Specialist, Mrs. Rachel James, about the Seven Oaks orthography program for children in Grades K – 5. Orthography includes spelling, reading, and writing. Mrs. James will also share how to promote literacy at home with your children.
