Background

Mrs. Walcott has taught second grade at Seven Oaks since the school opened. She has organized school community service projects such as Socktober and collecting baby supplies for the Hannah Center of Bloomington. In addition, Mrs. Walcott is the school's state test coordinator.

Mrs. Walcott is advancing into her thirteenth year of teaching. Before coming to Seven Oaks, she worked at Spencer-Owen Community and Richland-Bean Blossom Community Schools where she taught reading intervention, a third/fourth grade split class, fourth grade, fifth grade, and music.

Mrs. Walcott has been married to Andrew Walcott for 25 years. They have two adult daughters and excitedly await their first grandchild, a granddaughter, who shall arrive in November. The Walcott family is very active with their church family at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church.
